Lipstick Lounge’s Sister Spot, Chapstick, Now Open in East Nashville
The team behind East Nashville’s beloved Lipstick Lounge has launched a brand-new concept, Chapstick, which officially opened its doors September 15.
Located in a new 1,500-square-foot addition to the back of Lipstick Lounge at 1400 Woodland St., Chapstick features indoor seating plus a spacious patio. Like its sister bar, inclusivity is at the heart of the concept.
“Just like the Lipstick Lounge is a bar for humans, Chapstick is sportsball for all,” the bar shared on Instagram. “That means every single person has a seat set at Chapstick. We are all inclusive.” The venue plans to showcase a wide variety of sports, with a commitment to giving equal screen time to both women’s and men’s games, including a featured women’s game of the week on social media.
Owners Christa Suppan and Jonda Valentine, who opened Lipstick Lounge more than 20 years ago, are bringing the same welcoming energy to their new spot.
Chapstick’s menu includes eight different burgers, plus sandwiches, sliders, and quesadillas—making it a destination for game-day eats as well as casual hangs. Hours are Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m.
