Third suspect arrested in Las Vegas in connection with California rapper’s 2024 murder

Christopher Cheeks, 32, was murdered outside a music studio on Hayes Street. Cheeks, who went by the stage name Chris King, was in an alleyway near the studio when a group of men — including 32-year-old Trayvon Palmer, according to Metro police — ultimately tried to rob Cheeks and his friends before fatally shooting him.
