Sports Illustrated Resort Coming to Downtown Nashville
We are here at 1600 McGavock Street, the current location of the Placemakr Hotel, which is set to be transformed into a new Sports Illustrated themed resort. Travel + Leisure recently invested 32 million dollars to purchase a large number of units in the building, and significant updates are underway.
The upcoming resort will include:
- Studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units
- Full kitchens
- Outdoor pool
- On-site dining venue
- Fitness center
- Exclusive owners lounge
The first residents are expected to move in as early as spring 2026. Once an exact opening date is confirmed, I will provide an update.
It looks like Music City is getting a major new destination for sports, leisure, and urban living right in the heart of downtown Nashville.
