Oracle Reveals New Look at Pedestrian Bridge Landing at Neuhoff in Germantown

Oracle’s pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River is coming into clearer view.

New renderings filed with Metro show how the nearly 870-foot bridge will connect Oracle’s planned East Bank campus directly to Germantown, landing on Taylor Street beside the Neuhoff development.

On the Germantown side, the bridge’s “West Landing” appears to connect into Neuhoff’s property, opening onto an existing pavilion space behind the mixed-use project. Renderings also show kiosks, a restaurant space and a more active public-facing area near the Neuhoff high-rise.

The East Bank side will land within Oracle’s 76-acre River North campus near River North Boulevard, where the bridge appears to split into two paths.

Oracle is targeting an August construction start, with the project expected to take about two years to complete. The bridge will be 16 feet wide and supported by a steel mast-and-cable system with a concrete deck.

Designed by Foster + Partners, the bridge still needs final site plan approval from Metro Planning, scheduled for June 25.
