Nashville Yards Plans Largest Hotel in Downtown History
Nashville is about to get its biggest hotel yet, and it’s planned right in the middle of one of the most talked about developments in the city.
Developers behind Nashville Yards have officially filed plans for an 817-room hotel that would become the largest hotel in downtown Nashville. The proposed hotel will sit on a 1.1-acre site currently used as a plaza space, located in front of The Pinnacle music venue and next to the Creative Artists Agency office building.
According to plans, the development will include more than 10,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, along with meeting areas and a rooftop venue.
If approved, this would be the third hotel inside Nashville Yards, joining Union Station Hotel and Grand Hyatt Nashville. For comparison, the current largest hotel in Nashville is the Omni Nashville Hotel, which has around 800 rooms.
The proposal is scheduled to go before the planning commission on June 11.
