Nashville Proposes $750 Million Music City Center Expansion

Downtown Nashville is gearing up for future growth with a major expansion planned for the Music City Center.

The Nashville Convention Center Authority has purchased the former federal parking garage site at 811 McGavock Street for more than $52 million as part of a proposed $750 million expansion project. Plans include an additional 30,000 square feet of convention space featuring new ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibit halls, and more.

The expansion is designed to help Nashville remain competitive in attracting major conventions, conferences, and events while supporting the city's continued growth as a national destination.
