Massive Printers Alley Project Is Back On Track in Nashville

A major downtown Nashville project is officially back in motion. Rubicon Equities is moving forward with its long-awaited plan to connect Printers Alley and Bankers Alley through a brand-new mixed-use development.

Originally announced in 2021, the project went quiet for a while, but new permit filings show it’s alive again. The plan includes two new buildings on Third Avenue North, connected by a dramatic fourth-story bridge arching over Bankers Alley and creating a new gateway into the district.

The development is expected to bring:

  • 265 residential units
  • Over 33,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space
  • Three levels of underground parking
  • A rooftop patio, pool, and lounge

Rubicon has already applied for demolition and foundation permits, though there’s still no official construction start date.
