Massive 35-Story Hotel Revived for SoBro Nashville

A massive new hotel project in SoBro is officially back on the table after going quiet for a few years. Indiana based developer White Lodging Services Corporation has revived plans for a 35-story, 485-foot tower at 131 8th Avenue South, recently filing for bonus height certification and final site approval. The proposal heads to the Metro Planning Commission on February 12th.

If approved, the hotel would feature 785 rooms, making it the third-largest hotel in Nashville, just behind the Omni. The development also includes 12,300 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space, originally designed with multiple bars, including an oyster bar and sushi bar, plus underground parking and luxury amenities like a rooftop pool, terrace, cabanas, and VIP areas.
