Cliff’s Lounge & Oyster Bar coming to Nashville
A. Marshall Hospitality is expanding its downtown Nashville presence with the exciting debut of Cliff’s Lounge & Oyster Bar, opening August 5 – just in time for National Oyster Day!
Located inside Deacon’s New South at 401 Church Street, this new raw bar will offer chef-selected oysters, shrimp ceviche, fried oyster sliders, and a full drink menu featuring cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options. Deacon’s is also stepping up its game with new dinner menu additions and premium Linz Heritage Angus steaks.
The name “Cliff” is a heartfelt tribute to CEO Andy Marshall’s late father, inspired by their shared love for visiting oyster bars on family vacations. After making some strategic closures in early 2024, A. Marshall is entering a new chapter that’s focused on sustainable growth, smart financial moves, and strengthening internal operations. With Andy’s daughter, Claire Crowell, stepping in as the company’s first president, the future looks bright for one of Nashville’s most beloved hospitality groups.
