‘Absolutely concerning’: LGBTQ advocates warn Tennessee bill could expose transgender patients’ information

A new bill would require gender clinics to report certain patient statistics to the Tennessee Department of Health to be posted publicly — including their age, sex, county and the medications they’re prescribed — which some advocates for the LGBTQ+ community have argued would essentially create a registry of transgender people in the state.
