Keith Urban Drops “Steal Away” Ahead of June Release for Flow State

Keith Urban has released a new cover of Robbie Dupree’s 1980 hit “Steal Away,” the latest preview of his upcoming album Flow State, which is scheduled to arrive June 12 via MCA.

The new track leans into the soft, breezy sound Urban is exploring on the project, a yacht rock-inspired collection that also includes covers of songs such as “Baby Come Back,” “Just the Two of Us” and “Summer Breeze.” The album will also feature the original song “We Go Back” with Michael McDonald, along with collaborations involving Little Big Town and John Mayer.

According to the release, Flow State was produced by Urban and Dann Huff and recorded at Urban’s The Sound studio in Nashville. The project is positioned as a summer-themed record built around nostalgia, easygoing arrangements and familiar pop-rock classics.

Urban is also set for a busy stretch of appearances, including ACM Awards week events in Las Vegas, the American Music Awards on May 25 and CMA Fest in Nashville on June 5.
