Fun with the Fishes at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center

Shelby Bottoms Nature Center spends Saturday morning on the neighbors nobody sees: the fish living in Lake Sevier and the Cumberland River, a few hundred yards from where half of East Nashville walks the greenway.

Kids get a close look at which species are actually down there, what makes each one worth knowing, and why they matter to the health of the water. Pair it with a walk on the greenway afterward and you have a full morning that costs you almost nothing but the drive.
