Christmas is the most magical time of the year and to celebrate this magical season, military veteran turned country artist Jenny Leigh Miller just released an original holiday song, “Christmas in Bora Bora.” We are officially excited to premiere her music video. This Jenny Leigh Miller tune will surely be added to our holiday playlists, and you should add it to yours too as you prepare for cooking baking and present wrapping in the following weeks.
The video showcases the white sand beaches and bright crystal-clear blue waters of Bora Bora as Jenny alongside family and friends prepares for a holiday meal. The fun and upbeat tune that was written by Jenny, Justin Peters, and Steven Rupe and produced by Justin Peters was inspired equally by Jenny’s love for Christmas and Bora Bora, and her distaste for the cold winters of New England. “I get bored sometimes at holiday gatherings and family parties stuck in the snowy winter. I always find myself daydreaming of a warm place and wishing I was somewhere else,” she admits when reflecting on her thought process for writing the tune.
Review – The best way to describe Christmas in Bora Bora is a feel-good playful holiday tune that spices up the dreary cold days of the wintertime. It’s cool and catchy melody will have listeners singing along while simultaneously wishing they were “taking it easy on the beach” and “getting a holiday tan” this Christmas season.
We wish Jenny all the success with this new single and in her future endeavors, and look forward to hearing and seeing more from her in the new year!
About Jenny Leigh Miller:
Connecticut native Jenny Leigh Miller is the epitome of a go-getter. No matter school, work or dreams, Jenny puts her full energy into whatever she does. This military veteran turned country singer has transformed life experience into passionate, thoughtful storytelling. Though she grew up singing in the New England area, it wasn’t until an interest in world affairs inspired Jenny to enlist in the military that she would find her true calling. While deployed overseas, Jenny’s father sent her a Takamine guitar and she learned to play. Performing for her peers most nights, she formed a palpable connection with her audience and a sense of healing that she had not expected. Upon returning home she dove into writing her own songs and before long, she traveled them to Nashville.
Her last release American Heart received great praise from industry critics and radio personalities. Her debut release Driving With The Top Down was a well-received introduction to country radio and earned her nominations in three Josie Music Awards including Best Modern Country Song. She has been spending countless time on the road visiting radio stations and performing up and down the East coast. When it is all said and done, the stage is where Jenny feels the most connected to her craft and audiences everywhere can’t help but take notice.
