TPAC’s Proposed $600M Riverfront Campus Near Nissan Stadium
The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) may be getting a brand new, state-of-the-art facility on Nashville’s riverfront. Newly released renderings show a stunning campus planned for a 4.4-acre site next to the new Nissan Stadium.
The proposed development includes three theater spaces: a large main hall, a midsize theater, and a flexible performance space designed for multiple seating configurations. The project carries an estimated price tag of more than $600 million, with the State of Tennessee offering a $5-to-$1 match for funds raised by TPAC, up to $500 million.
The proposal has already passed the first of three Metro Council votes. If all approvals and funding milestones are met by December 31, 2026, construction could begin in June 2027 with an estimated five-year build timeline.
