Huge Renovation Planned for The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville

Major upgrades are coming to The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville. Opened in 1955, the mall has long been known as one of the premier shopping destinations in Middle Tennessee. Now, with new retail districts growing across the city, a major investment is planned to keep it competitive.

Simon Property Group, the company that purchased the Mall at Green Hills in November of last year, has announced plans to invest more than $250 million into three of its properties, including this iconic Nashville shopping center.

The project is expected to begin sometime in 2026, though an exact start date and completion timeline have not yet been announced.

Planned improvements include upgraded landscaping around the property, new two story entrances, jewel box style storefront entrances for retailers, and enhancements to interior spaces throughout the mall.
