About Fort Louise
Opened in July 2017, Fort Louise is a chef-driven neighborhood restaurant located in the Inglewood neighborhood of East Nashville, Tennessee. Owned by Nashville resident and seasoned hospitality vet Jessica Bower, the 1,400-square foot space presents a menu featuring friendly spins on American comfort cuisine from prominent Chicago Chef/Partner Greg Biggers (McCrady’s, TRU). Biggers is currently Executive Chef of Chicago’s Cafe des Architectes at the Sofitel Hotel and remains in this position as he leads the dining program at Fort Louise. A friendly neighborhood destination, the cozy, standalone concept serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with a spacious outdoor back porch, creating a
comfortable open-air gathering place for prime al fresco dining and drinking. The name “Fort Louise” is a nod to the historical roots of the area and references what Bower lovingly calls her own Nashville home, “Fort Bower,” creating the feel of a dinner party at a friend’s home. Fort Louise is located at 1304 McGavock Pike. Fort Louise is open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the restaurant is closed on Monday.
