First Look Inside Tennessee’s First Equinox Coming to Nashville

Nashville is getting its first Equinox and here is a first look inside the new luxury fitness club.

Equinox is preparing to open this winter inside Paseo South Gulch, taking over three floors and nearly 37,000 square feet of the historic Voorhees Building at 700 Eighth Avenue South.

The New York-based fitness and wellness brand will feature strength and cardio floors, group fitness classes, a Pilates reformer studio, contrast therapy, and The Spa at Equinox.

There will also be a member lounge and coworking space called “The Den.”

Metro permits show about $6.45 million worth of construction tied to the new location.

Equinox was founded in New York in 1991 and now has more than 110 locations around the world. Memberships typically range from about $200 to $400 per month, depending on the club.

This will be the first Equinox in Tennessee and another major addition to the more than $1 billion Paseo South Gulch development, which already includes restaurants, retail, apartments and the upcoming Pendry Nashville hotel and condo tower.

Equinox Nashville is expected to open this winter.
