Student Debt: Strategy & Survival
February 16, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

American student loan debt has increased significantly in the past decade, to over $1.3 trillion in 2016. According to the Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS), 60% of Tennessee graduating seniors in 2015 had an average of over $26,000 in debt.

Learn more in this panel discussion, co-hosted by the League of Women Voters of Nashville/Rutherford County with the MTSU Economics Club, on the MTSU campus in the State Farm Room of BAS (Business and Aerospace Building). The public is invited.
Panelists will include Chance Cansler, MTSU economics student; Jennifer Conover, MTSU Enrollment Coordinator; and Dr. David Penn, professor in the MTSU department of economics and finance.
