Nantahala Tap Takeover
September 5, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Nantahala Brewery was started by three friends in the spring of 2009 when they purchased a plot of land that would hold their dreams of having a brewery. The Noon Day IPA was the first batch of beer brewed in May 2010. Which is their flagship beer. In 2011, they finally opened their tap room at the brewery. This is when they knew that this was serious so they hired their first full time brew master. After that in 2012 was when they won their first award for the beer. And that was only the beginning.
We are going to feature 4 of their beers including one from their Dam Release Seasonal which is the Little Tennessee Logger. This is a “hoppy” mistake. They created a hoppy lager with a very floral nose and rosey flavor. We will have the first beer that they brewed. The Noon Day IPA is piney with notes of grapefruit. The dry-hopping makes for a bug nose of floral notes but still has a dry, crisp finish. One sip and you will understand why this is the first beer they brewed. The Dirty Girl Blonde is one of their lightest beers they brew but that doesn’t mean it is lite in flavor. With slight hints of noble hops in the aroma and a crisp dry finish. The Bryson City Brown is dark in color but not heavy on the palette. With a chocolate/nutty character and slightly roasty qualities for a finish that is smooth.
We have everyone’s favorite FREE gift which is glasses!! Come and get buy a pint of their beer and get a free pint glass to go in your collection. There will also be a drawing for growler fill ups so don’t forget to bring yours with you!!!
We also allow outside food, so pack some snacks or have a pizza delivered.
Cheers!
