Frog Watch USA – Citizen Science Project

June 2, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Volunteer in your local area and backyard. Do you hear frogs and toads in your neighborhood or backyard? Amphibians such as frogs and toads are in decline worldwide due in part to environment and loss of habitat. Frog Watch USA is a citizen science program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that invites individuals and families to learn about the wetlands in their communities and help conserve amphibians by reporting data on the calls of local frogs and toads to help with long-term data in the U.S. After completion of this program, you will become a certified Frog Watch Volunteer and will be able to turn in your local data on Frog Watch – Field Scope online. Registration is required.
