The Kentucky Takeover is a showcase of Kentucky-proper musicians and a celebration of the heritage of their commonwealth. Audiences are guaranteed to leave with a sense of pride and a pure excitement for the future of Kentucky music.

Kentucky Country Music exclusively premiered a first listen to Collins’ new song, “Workin’ Man,” which “will easily get you dancing to the beat and singing along by the end of it (Kentucky Country Music/Jessica Bray).”

Fastline, a Kentucky-based farm and construction equipment resource, selected ‘Workin’ Man” for the theme song of their new podcast Fastline Fast Track, hosted by 24-year veteran broadcaster and journalist, Brent Adams. Along with conversations between agricultural industry newsmakers, the episodes also feature up-and-coming and legendary country music artists on “The Legends Stage,” presented by the Ernest Tubb Record Shop.

Collins’ latest album, It’s Been Awhile, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers South Central Albums chart, No. 9 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, No. 21 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and No. 25 on the Billboard Country Albums Sales chart (Hot Shot Debut).
