Rising Artist Brandon Wisham Named SiriusXM The Highway’s Next “Highway Find”

Wisham continues on the road as support for Tyler Hubbard, recently performing “Cruise” together on stage

South Carolina native Brandon Wisham has been tapped as the next “Highway Find” for SiriusXM’s The Highway, spotlighting new country music talent. Host Cody Alan surprised Wisham with the major milestone news yesterday morning live on air from the SiriusXM studio in Nashville. The rising artist joins previous “Highway Finds” such as Luke Combs, Parker McCollum, Dan + Shay and more.

“I had a few things on my list to do today and being a Highway Find wasn’t one I was expecting,” Wisham shared yesterday after being surprised with the news. “Thank you so much to the The Highway family for believing in my music and making me feel at home. This is unbelievable. Thank you to everyone who has been listening on The Highway!”

The momentum continues as Wisham rides the high of his latest release “Growin’ Up,” which dropped on June 20 and has already reached over 220k on demand streams across platforms. Written by Wisham, Jeb Gipson and Jake Rose, “Growin’ Up” reflects on the whirlwind feeling of growing up in the blink of an eye, marking one of his most vulnerable releases yet. After the release, All Country News noted, “Country music has always found strength in storytelling, and Wisham is stepping confidently into that tradition with a voice that’s fresh but familiar.” The singer-songwriter released his debut single “Back Together” in March, following up the track with “Better Than The Day” in May. The track went to spin on SiriusXM’s The Highway, marking Wisham’s first feature on the channel.

Wisham first hit the scene in 2023 after posting a demo of “Pain Won’t Last” on TikTok and immediately caught the attention of country star Bailey Zimmerman. The rising artist was sparked to move to Nashville, ultimately joining Zimmerman on his headlining RELIGIOUSLY. THE TOUR. throughout 2024. Wisham also spent the past year on the road with Josh Ross and writing on Music Row.

Wisham continues to map out a year full of excitement with tour dates and new music. The singer-songwriter’s talent drew Tyler Hubbard in during a writing session, leading him to invite Wisham on the road for select dates nationwide this summer. He also recently joined Chase Matthew for a show and will join Lakeview as support this fall.
