Local Students Making National Waves
We’ve got some BIG hometown news to share about some incredible students right here in Rutherford County!
The Stewart’s Creek High School JROTC Robotics Teams just returned from the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, TX — and they crushed it! 🙌
Out of 5,440 teams worldwide, only 741 teams made it to Worlds, and just 147 of those were JROTC teams. SCHS didn’t just show up… they DOMINATED:
👉 #13, #27, and #45 in the world in the JROTC division!
👉 #1 Ranked JROTC Robotics Team in the entire state of Tennessee!
These students have dedicated 300+ hours year-round to building, coding, and competing — representing not just their school, but our entire community on an international stage with 33 countries represented at the event. 🌍 🤖
Sadly, they haven’t received much recognition from the school or district — so we’re here to change that. 👏 Help us celebrate these amazing Red Hawks by liking, sharing, and letting them know how proud we are!
Way to go SCHS JROTC Robotics! You’ve made Smyrna, Rutherford County, and Tennessee proud! 🚀 ❤️ 🖤
