Hummingbird Watch at Beaman Park Nature Center

<p>Late August is peak hummingbird migration in Middle Tennessee, and Beaman Park Nature Center is leaning all the way into it on Friday evening. Bring binoculars if you have them, and wear a red hat — the birds are drawn to it, and it genuinely works.</p>
<p>The hour is built for kids: a hummingbird play, hummingbird games, and then the real thing at the feeders. It is a good first nature program for younger children because it is short, it is outdoors, and there is something to look at the whole time.</p>
