New Marriott Project Revealed in Nashville’s Gulch
While most of the attention has been on the luxury Nashville Edition tower in The Gulch, there's another major development going up right next door that could be just as interesting.
Tidal Real Estate Partners has revealed new details about its 16-story mixed-use tower currently under construction at 1221 Grundy Street.
The lower portion of the building will feature 144 apartment-style extended stay hotel rooms operating under Marriott's Apartments by Bonvoy brand. Think of it as an upscale alternative to Airbnb, offering the space of an apartment with Marriott's hotel standards.
The upper floors will include 168 Marriott Vacation Club timeshare units, bringing a type of urban vacation ownership that's still relatively rare in downtown Nashville.
The building will also feature a rooftop pool and meeting space, along with 15,000 square feet of retail that Tidal says will be leased to an experiential entertainment tenant.
This project is part of Tidal's larger vision to transform the north end of The Gulch into an upscale mixed-use neighborhood with luxury hotels, residences, restaurants, and entertainment. Alongside the 28-story Nashville Edition tower and other planned developments, the company says it's creating one of Nashville's premier urban destinations.
