Vacant West End Lot Could Become a Massive 15-Story Mixed Use Tower
After years of sitting vacant, the former Piggly Wiggly site at 2900 West End Avenue in Nashville could finally be getting a major transformation. New development plans call for a 15-story mixed use tower featuring 110 residential units, 260 hotel rooms, 10,000 square feet of restaurant space, and 20,000 square feet of retail.
The proposal comes after a previous apartment project was canceled due to rising interest rates and construction costs. If approved, the development would help revitalize one of Midtown Nashville's most prominent vacant properties, though it will require a special exemption for its proposed height.
